Tariq is the Head of International Arbitration at M&Co. Legal, a leading UAE law firm, specializing in disputes within the construction, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. Over his career, he has handled 50+ complex arbitrations across industries and acted as a sole arbitrator in 10+ cases under institutional rules. As a Mediator, he recently resolved a dispute valued at over USD 200 million.

Appointed Partner at Advani & Co., New Delhi, in 2021, Tariq brings extensive experience under various arbitral institution rules and served as Registrar of the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC). He is also an arbitrator and accredited mediator empanelled with AIAC, SIMC, and others.

With 12+ years of common law experience, Tariq has achieved favorable outcomes in the Supreme Court of India and high-profile cases in various High Courts. An Adjunct Professor at multiple universities, he has authored books on Indian Arbitration Law and MSME Law and published 60+ articles on arbitration.

Recognized as an arbitration expert by SCCOnline, Tariq has trained arbitrators, mediators, and legal professionals and served as a resource person at the Judicial Academy. He was listed in the Forbes Legal Powerlist 2020–2021 and was the youngest lawyer featured in BW Legal 40 Under 40 in 2020.
