Expert Evidence in Construction Disputes: Lawyer, Employer, Contractor and Expert Witness Perspective

Closed

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The engagement of external consultants and experts is an important factor in ensuring the smooth execution of infrastructure projects: getting it right can make a project a success for all parties, whereas getting it wrong can result in an unsuccessful project.

As Saudi Arabia presses forward towards realising Vision 2030, we will discuss with some of the leading companies, experts and lawyers who work in the Middle East region, the myriad of issues, including the strategic and commercial drivers, that need to be considered when engaging external consultants and experts.

The panel, comprising experts from Ankura, ROSHN and Hogan Lovells, will address various issues from the mindset of the employer, contractor, internal and external counsel and expert, including:

  • Working with experts during the pre-dispute resolution phase.
  • When to engage and deploy expert evidence.
  • Strategic considerations for expert evidence.

The discussion will reflect the practical realities of working in Saudi Arabia.
