Zachary has a decade of experience in the Gulf as a Mediator, Lawyer, and Law Professor.  He is Full Professor of Law at Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU) College of Law in Doha, Qatar and regularly serves as a visiting professor around the world.  He has held academic appointments in the USA, UK, Australia, Korea, Uzbekistan, and Egypt.

The author of 2 books and 80 articles, he is a leading authority on international dispute resolution and serves as a frequent lecturer, commentator, consultant, and trainer.

A CEDR-accredited Mediator with an LLM in Mediation from the leading dispute resolution program in the United States, Zachary is affiliated with several international and regional dispute resolution rosters including the Qatar Sports Arbitration Tribunal and Sport Resolutions (UK).

Zachary practiced commercial and banking law in Washington, DC and was the Swygert Professor of Law at Valparaiso University outside Chicago.  He maintains an international legal practice as Senior Counsel at McNair International (London & Doha) and Of Counsel and Middle East Director at Schelstraete Equine Law (Amsterdam & Doha).

Zachary has experience across a range of areas including commercial, banking, employment, and sport.
