Senior Legal Counsel for Siemens Mobility GmbH (SMO), based in Riyadh, having worked since 2017 as Lead Contracts and Claims for SMO, part of the BACS Consortium, which was responsible for the design, build and commissioning of Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh Metro Project.

Bilingual (English-Dutch), senior legal professional (qualified lawyer) with comprehensive legal, business and project management expertise obtained in multinational matrix organisations and cross-functional teams. Experience of working in: Netherlands, Canada, UK, Brazil, Iraq, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Russia (Sakhalin).

Specialisms include advising on legal aspects of construction projects (oil & gas, infrastructure): complex front-end contract negotiations, change management, contract management, claims management (EoT claims and additional compensation), litigation preparation and back end-dispute resolution.

  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
