Vivek is EVP Legal/General Counsel at a PIF Portfolio Company and is based in Riyadh. He started his career in India where he practiced in the Supreme Court of India as an Advocate on Record and was focussed on litigation and power projects. He then joined CMS Cameron McKenna, as silver circle firm in Hong Kong, and moved to London,  focusing in the energy sector. He did extensive work on all types of legal matters and transactions concerning the power sector in over 19 jurisdictions. After working with them for over 13 years, he joined Abu Dhabi Energy Company, a global energy company listed on the Abu Dhabi Exchange. He was the General Counsel there and worked with them for over 13 years. During this period, he handled a variety of corporate and transactional matters, as well as international arbitrations. Vivek is an international arbitrator and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you.
