Thomas R. Snider is a Partner and the Head of International Arbitration at Charles Russell Speechlys LLP based in the firm’s Dubai office. He has represented corporate entities and sovereign states in a wide range of matters involving international arbitration and other forms of cross-border dispute resolution, including state-to-state arbitration, international commercial arbitration, international investment disputes, and U.S. court litigation.

Mr. Snider is recognised as a Thought Leader in Who’s Who Legal Arbitration and is ranked for dispute resolution in Chambers United Arab Emirates. Among other roles, he is a member of Court of Arbitration of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

Mr. Snider frequently speaks and writes on topics involving international law and dispute resolution.  Before relocating to Dubai, he was a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. 

Mr. Snider received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
