After becoming a U.S.-qualified lawyer, Dr. Saud Al-Ammari began his career as an associate at Bracewell Patterson in Houston. He then joined White & Case in New York as an associate for one year before returning to Saudi Arabia, where he built a distinguished legal career spanning corporate, commercial, and litigation matters, including arbitration, both within and outside the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

As an active practitioner, Dr. Saud handles litigation and arbitration claims and court work. The last five years have been particularly busy as highlighted in the below list.

As a litigator, Dr. Saud has prepared pleadings and memoranda and appeared before a number of arbitration tribunals and all levels of courts, involving claims and contractual disputes. In doing so, he has participated in multiple arbitration matters and appeared at all levels of courts and quasi-Judicial Bodies in Saudi Arabia, London, Houston, Bahrain and Dubai. Dr. Saud also prepared opinions on Shari’ah and the Saudi legal system, as well as dispute resolution mechanism in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Saud has successfully handled a number of enforcement of foreign judgments, whether court issued, or arbitral awards. Moreover, he has lectured, written and published papers and articles on litigation and arbitration.
