Rahaf Alhamwi is an accomplished legal professional with seven years of experience. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Law and an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, where she earned Merit overall for her dissertation on "Arbitration in Islamic Finance Disputes," and has developed robust expertise in mediation and arbitration, having been admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and earned the certificate in ICC case management.
In her previous role as Senior Case Counsel at the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), she gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of dispute resolution and successfully administered 132 arbitration cases valued at over SAR 60 million.
Rahaf has also represented the SCCA at the UNCITRAL session on "Regional Perspectives on Cross-border Dispute Resolution," where she discussed Saudi Arabia’s legislative advancements in mediation before distinguished attendees, including the Korean Deputy Minister of Justice and representatives from 16 Asia-Pacific states.
Currently, she serves as a Senior Compliance Specialist (Investigation Unit) at a company wholly owned by PIF. She is thirlled to share her insights on resolving disputes through mediation and expert determination under ICC rules.
