Dr. Qaisar Metawea is the Managing Partner at Dr. Qaisar H Metawea Law Firm. With over 20 years of prior experience as a practicing Saudi Lawyer, he is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Justice and is one of the founding members of the Saudi Bar Association. Dr. Qaisar holds an S.J.D. in International Intellectual Property Law with a focus on International Trade Law and an L.L.M. in International Intellectual Property Law from Indiana University School of Law, U.S.A. He also earned an L.L.M. in Business Law, specializing in International Trade Law, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, U.S.A., and an L.L.B. from King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Qaisar’s extensive expertise spans a wide range of practice areas, including corporate commercial, construction and real estate, tourism, healthcare, energy, aviation, labor, foreign investment, capital markets, transaction, competition, and intellectual property and technology law. He is well versed in providing legal services, negotiating complex business transactions, structuring, and litigation. Additionally, he has worked closely with regulators, contributing to policy drafting and review. Beyond his professional practice, Dr. Qaisar has served as a lecturer at a law school, sharing his knowledge and experience with aspiring legal professionals. He is also a contributor to prominent local newspapers, including Okaz and Arab News.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
