Dr. Pinky Anand is a designated Senior Advocate in India and has held the post of the Additional Solicitor General of India for two consecutive terms from 2014 to 2020, representing the Govt of India in the Supreme Court of India. As an Arbitrator, she is recognized by SIAC, DIAC, DIFC Courts, AIAC Malaysia and ICA India. In addition, she has represented India at several esteemed international forums such as BRICS and the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation on various aspects. Leading the ADR Committee of LawAsia and contributing as a founding member of the BRICS Legal Forum, Dr. Anand is a published and a renowned expert in Private International Law and has been called as a Door Tenant at the renowned No. 5 Barristers Chambers, London and frequently deals with issues of International and Cross border application and enforcement of law.
A post-graduate from the prestigious Harvard Law School, she has had a distinguished legal career at the Bar for over 40 years, having represented the Government of India, Public Sector Undertakings and private parties in matters of corporate and financial frauds as well as arbitrations in construction and infrastructure among others. Dr. Anand was instrumental in handling the famous Agusta Westland International Arbitration for the Republic of India.
