Neeraj Menon is the Head of the Projects practice of the firm. He specialises in strategic advice, project development, investments, acquisitions and restructurings in the energy, infrastructure and mining sectors.

Neeraj has extensively advised private sector clients on bidding and developing power, oil and gas, transport and social infrastructure projects. He is a market leader in energy transition, climate mitigation and renewable energy sectors. He also provides strategic advice in special situations and high-value regulatory and commercial disputes. His expertise is often sought by the Government of India and state governments in the energy and ESG matters, including on framing bidding guidelines and on various Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects.

Neeraj has worked on several first-to-market projects in the sector, including the first-of-kind PPP project for a pumped hydro storage plant, one of the largest acquisitions in the oil to chemicals and refining business, benchmark-setting renewable energy projects in India and overseas, one of the largest Battery, Energy, Storage System (BESS) tenders in India, the first PPP metro rail project to one of the largest Indian One Time Settlement (OTS) transactions in the conventional energy sector.
