Ms. Natalia Barroso is a Director in the FTI Consulting’s Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Dubai, UAE. Natalia is a mechanical engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, with significant experience in construction arbitration across the Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

Ms. Barroso has over 10 years of experience as Planning Manager for oil and gas mega projects up to 2 billion USD. Since 2016 she has been analysing complex programmes and writing expert reports in various sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Mining, Highways and Rail Infrastructure.

Natalia brings wide ranging experience and technical expertise in programming and delay analysis in construction, preparation of expert delay reports, preparation and defense of claim submissions and assessment and audit of EOT and disruption entitlement.

Additionally, prior to her experience in dispute resolution and project controls, Natalia worked for 5 years as a project engineer gaining extensive knowledge in engineering design and 3D modeling for Nuclear Power Plants and Combined Cycle Power Plants projects.

Natalia holds a Master of Laws from Robert Gordon University and an MBA from IE Business School.
