Javier obtained his degree in law at the Universidad Publica de Navarra and has an LLM by the Northwestern Law School of Chicago. After a short period in the public sector and in the private practice, Javier started his career in Acciona as in-house lawyer in Acciona Windpower back in 2005, becoming Head of Legal of said company in 2009. After the merger between Acciona Windpower and the german wind turbine manufacturer Nordex in 2015, Javier acted as Deputy General Counsel of this corporation until 2018 when he was appointed as Head of Legal of Acciona Infrastructure, his current position.


Acciona is one of the foremost Spanish conglomerates, leading in the development and management of infrastructure, renewable energy, water and services and listed on the IBEX-35 Spanish stock exchange index. In his position in Acciona Infrastructure Javier leads the legal practice of the Construction, Concessions, Water, Industrial and Engineering business.

  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you.
