Jay is a dual-qualified Legal Director in the Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes CMS team based in Riyadh. He is recognised as a ‘Future Leader’ and ‘Global Elite Thought leader – Under 45’ by Who’s Who Legal (Construction & Arbitration) and a ‘Rising Star’ by Legal 500. 

Jay has a depth of international experience, having worked in the Middle East, England, Australia and South-East Asia advising on complex disputes in the construction, engineering, infrastructure and energy sectors, including both commercial and public international law matters. His sector expertise spans projects in more than 27 different jurisdictions across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and North & Central America, including infrastructure projects, oil and gas facilities, chemical and power plants, rail and other transport projects. 

Jay specialises in supporting client through the project delivery phase to manage risk and avoid disputes, whilst also representing clients in high-value international arbitrations both under English and local laws, including proceedings subject to ICSID, LCIA, ICC, SIAC, UNCITRAL, SCCA and DIAC rules for international arbitration.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
