Jason Hambury focuses in international arbitration, litigation, and strategic project advice, particularly within the energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. He has over 25 years' experience of international arbitration under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, and UNCITRAL Rules, advising in both civil law and common law jurisdictions.

Jason advises owners, operators, contractors, large corporations, and government bodies on high-value disputes, and has particular knowledge of all aspects of contentious construction law, focussing on EPC, FIDIC, and NEC contracts. He has advised on major projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, Canada and Latin America, including pipelines, FPSOs, offshore process platforms, drilling rigs, refineries, LNG terminals, gas turbine, and coal fire power stations.  Jason is ranked in Lexology for Construction Disputes and is named in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for international arbitration.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
  • Photography Permission: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to take photographs during the conference and events which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
  • Post-Event Communciation: By accepting these terms and conditions, you grant permission for the SCCA, RIDW25 Organizing Committee and the Event Organizers to contact you after the events regarding services and opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you prefer not to receive such communications, please inform the event organizers beforehand.
