Edmund Kronenburg is the Managing Partner of Braddell Brothers LLP, founded in 1883.  He is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor (Singapore) and Solicitor (England & Wales). 

With over 27 years’ experience in litigation and arbitration, Edmund regularly appears as lead counsel in cases before the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as in international arbitrations seated in Singapore and elsewhere. His diverse practice includes commercial and corporate disputes, energy and natural resources, media and telecommunications, fraud claims, breach of confidence, defamation, medical / healthcare law, as well as pre-emptive / emergency relief, including Worldwide Freezing Injunctions. 

In a recent SIAC arbitration seated in Singapore, Edmund co-counselled with a prominent Russian disputes practice appearing against King’s Counsel, achieving victory in the form of a USD 520 million arbitral award, while defeating the opposing party’s USD 2 billion counterclaim.

Edmund also actively sits as an Arbitrator, and has conducted arbitrations seated in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei and Cambodia.  He is a Fellow of CIArb, SIArb, MIArb, AMINZ, HKIArb, PIArb and ACICA.

Edmund has received wide recognition in various legal guides including the Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and others. Chambers (Asia-Pacific) has reported that Edmund “has the ability to think beyond the conventional and has brilliant ideas in terms of legal strategy”.

By registering for the Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (“RIDW25), you agree to the following terms:
  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
