A Saudi lawyer, with local and international experience, holds a Ph.D degree in the field of Waqf and trusts law from King’s College in London, a master’s degree in contract law from McGill University, and a bachelor’s degree in Sharia from the Islamic University of Madinah. Dr. Hamid specializes in litigation, international transactions, endowments, wealth management, commercial law, and labor law. Dr. Hamid has many publications, the most prominent of which is a book titled: Toward the Reform of Private Waqfs: A Comparative Study of Islamic Waqfs and English Trusts (Brill, 2015).
