Mr. Azm Ali is a distinguished legal professional specializing in corporate and commercial law, with a strong focus on infrastructure and public-private partnership (PPP) projects. A gold medalist in law from the University of Punjab, he is currently pursuing an LLM in Taxation from the University of San Francisco, USA. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Azm has played a pivotal role in major energy, finance, and infrastructure transactions across Pakistan.

Currently a Partner at SAMDANI QURESHI AQLAAL, Islamabad, he has been instrumental in advising on large-scale projects such as the 720 MW Karot Hydropower Project, 1124 MW Kohala Hydropower Project, and multiple wind and solar energy projects. His expertise extends to legal counsel for government entities, financial institutions, and multinational corporations, advising on financial transactions, project structuring, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Mr. Azm has also contributed to policy development, assisting in the preparation of alternative and renewable energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and transaction documents for competitive bidding in Pakistan. His legal acumen is reinforced by certifications in civil/commercial mediation, project management, and negotiation skills.

A member of the Punjab Bar Council and Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association, Mr. Azm Ali continues to shape Pakistan’s legal landscape in energy, finance, and infrastructure development.
