Aysha is a Bahraini lawyer with right of audience before the Cassation and the Constitu- tional Courts of Bahrain. She is an international arbitration practitioner and lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in litigation and international arbitration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from ASU University and a master’s degree in international dispute resolution from Queen Mary University London.

Ms. Mutaywea served on the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court of Arbi- tration for six years. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of ICC Bahrain and the Board of Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution. She is also the Head of the ICC ADR and Arbitration Committee of Bahrain. She represents Bahrain on the Panel for arbitrators and conciliators at ICSID and represents Bahrain in UNICTRAL Working Groups two and three.

Aysha has extensive experience in international arbitration and has served as case man- ager, tribunal secretary, expert, sole arbitrator and president. She has served as arbitrator in more than 30 international arbitration cases under various institutional rules such as ICC, LCIA, SIAC, DIAC, BCDR, SCCA, GCC-AC and others. In addition to that, she is the first Bahraini arbitrator to be admitted to the Court of Sports Arbitration(CAS).
