The Willminds Debate is not just another traditonal debate. It is an innovative intellectual sport, introducing a fresh and engaging way of exploring ideas and resolving complex issues. It is revolutionanizing how we integrate ideas, shape decisions, and inspire collective action. Much like TED Talks redefined how stories and ideas are shared, the Willminds Debate is innovating the debate process. 

During RIDW 2025, WMAC will be hosting this 55-min structured debate to delve into topic of Corruption in Dispute Resolution, sparking meaningful dialogue about the role of arbitration and mediation in combatting corruption in global commercial dealings and how they can be used to resolve cases where corruption is the core issue without compromise.  It will also explore how corruption might infilitrate the very processes designed to administer justice and what safeguards can be put in place to prevent such abuses. 

The Willminds Debate will bring together 4 renowned experts to dicuss the different angles: Expert 1 and Expert 2 will focus on the positive aspects of mediation and arbitration as solutions to handle corruption-related cases. Expert 3 will introduce the challenge of corruption creeping into these very processes, questioning their effectiveness without effective reforms. Expert 4 will offer a balanced view by acknowledging the challenges but presenting reforms as the way forward to preserve the legitimacy of dispute resolution mechanisms.

  • Registration Fees: Once paid, event registration fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Fees are valid exclusively for entry to RIDW25.
  • Promotional Codes: Any promotional codes are personal to the individual or entity to whom they were provided and are non-transferable. Individuals or entities other than those specified are ineligible to apply or use these promotions. The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) and the RIDW25 Organizing Committee reserve the right to deny or cancel the registration and entry of anyone who attempts to use a promotion for which they are not eligible. Paid amounts will not be refunded if denied or canceled registrations
  • Media Consent: By attending any RIDW24 event, you waive any rights to object to your appearance in media coverage related to the event, including photos, videos, and television. This applies whether captured directly by the event host or by other media present.
