As Zakat and Waqf management evolves, effective dispute resolution becomes essential for fairness and transparency. This session will explore strategies for mediating disputes among donors, recipients, administrators, and stakeholders while strengthening governance frameworks to protect funds and beneficiaries. We will also discuss wealth preservation (Hifz al-Mal) and address legal, ethical, and compliance challenges in collecting and distributing Zakat and Waqf funds, focusing on issues like eligibility, fairness, and transparency.

We will examine arbitration and mediation techniques for resolving complex conflicts, with experts in Islamic finance and charity management. The session will explore the application of AAOIFI Sharī‘ah Standard No. 32 in multi-party disputes and emphasize the importance of legal compliance in Zakat and Waqf management.

Additionally, we’ll discuss the development of tailored ADR policies and the integration of mediation, conciliation, and arbitration into the governance of Zakat and Waqf institutions. Finally, we’ll explore the role of capacity-building initiatives and technology, such as Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) tools, in enhancing accessibility and effectiveness in resolving disputes.

Join us for a premium discussion on strengthening governance, improving collaboration, and promoting sustainable growth within Zakat and Waqf institutions.
